We are pleased to announce the forthcoming conference ‘Thermology in Medicine’ which is to be held at The Móller Centre, Churchill College, Cambridge University on the 10th/11th May 2008.
This is an international conference with attendees and speakers from many countries. The speakers will be presenting papers regarding original research and their use of thermal imaging in medical and clinical applications, both in human and veterinary practice.
The object of the conference is to increase awareness of the viability of modern Infrared Thermal Imaging in professional medical practices, hospitals and clinics.
The emphasis is on practical use and presentations will provide attendees with information about current applications and the supporting literature. This conference will also help provide a realistic expectation of the utility of thermal imaging for the referring practitioner.
There are no commercial interests associated with this conference which is sponsored by the UKTA (United Kingdom Thermographic Association) and the ACCT (American College of Clinical Thermology) both of which are non profit academic bodies.
Trade stands are not permitted at the conference but academic poster presentations will be included in the conference proceedings.
We hope that you will be able to attend this educational and informative 2-day conference.
The historic University town of Cambridge is particularly beautiful in the spring and there are extensive activities for accompanying family and friends. We would be happy to advise on accommodation options.
