Professional Clinical Thermography Training
CLINICAL THERMOGRAPHY CERTIFICATION PROGRAM

2008 Training Schedule

The ACCT offers three levels of professional certified thermography training, designated as follows:

Clinical Thermographer Level I (CT-I)
Clinical Thermographer Level II (CT-II)
Clinical Thermographer Level III-Trainer (CT-III-Trainer)

These certification programs are designed to provide focused competence training with an emphasis on the following:

1 Clinical Application:
clinical application and use of infrared thermographic camera systems

2 Imaging Proficiency:
hands-on proficiency in performing high quality thermal imaging studies

3 Medicolegal and HIPPA Compliance:
essential medicolegal and HIPPA-related issues in clinical thermography

4 Thermography Practice Standards:
optimizing communication of clinical information in the patient-client/thermographer/thermologist team, including standards of care, professionalism and ethics in the practice of clinical thermography

5 Practice Development:
practice development, including educational and marketing support materials, development strategies, networking issues

6 ACCT Resources:
utilization of ACCT professional support resources

Thermography Clinic Management Training
THERMOGRAPHY CLINIC MANAGEMENT CERTIFICATION PROGRAM

The ACCT offers two levels of certification in the management and operation of a thermography clinic or lab, as follows:

Clinical Thermography Management Level I (CTM-I)
Clinical Thermography Management Level II (CTM-II)

These certification programs are designed to provide competence training in detailed, practical management and operation of a thermography clinic or lab, whether free-standing or integrated into a health care practice. These programs emphasize the following:

1 clinical application and use of digital infrared thermographic camera systems

2 practical operation and management issues, including new clinic design or existing clinic integration, budgeting and resource allocation, optimizing patient/client flow, business expansion and networking

3 essential issues regarding medicolegal and HIPPA-related aspects of clinical thermography, as essential risk management factors for compliance and business success

4 staff development and skills training, including optimizing communication between all staff members of the clinic/lab

5 standards of care, professionalism and ethics in the practice of clinical thermography

6 improving profits and business development, including educational and marketing support materials and strategies, networking issues, and utilization of ACCT professional support resources
